  1. Get a composter bin that provides an interior "paddle or aeration spikes"(help air access into the compost for rapid- odor-free decomposition)

  2. Lay twigs or straw first then add compost materials in layers(alternating moist and dry.)

  1. Turn. Every few weeks.(using a pitchfork or shovel)

  2. Add more compost materials when previous batch has decompost.

Post title

  1. When compost no longer gives off heat and its dry, brown and crumbly.

  2. Add 4 to 6 inches of compost to your pots for rich soil.
